With the assistance of dementia educator\, Marie Hlava of Pine Island\, Greg will talk about what Primary Progressive Aphasia is in the broad term. He will also talk about his early symptoms and then the testing process leading to his diagnosis of PPA. Greg will share some strategies he has found to help him navigate his day-to-day tasks. Dr. Stone was previously with the International Longevity Center-USA in New York\, NY\, where she was Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer. Dr. Stone also served the White House as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Disability\, Aging and Long-Term Care Policy and as acting Assistant Secretary for Aging in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services under the Clinton administration. \n
